| The students have been candling eggs each week. This allows them to see the embryos and note their growth. I taught the students how to recognize problems with the eggs (broken air cell, blood-ring which indicates embryo death, or an unfertilized egg) and why you should remove them from the incubator. They have been fascinated to see the growth and development of these little guys, and we cannot wait until hatch day! |
