| The younger kids played a dice game. They worked on simple addition skills, reading skills, and got to get up and MOVE! |

| We are a big fan of "getting our wiggles out". During today's younger class, I taught them the Chicken Dance. Then, we had a freestyle-chicken-dance-off! |

| I taught the students about how I use fake eggs (or even golf-balls) to trick sneaky snakes. We read the book, The Crows of Pearblossom, where the crows did just the same thing! |

| The older class read, "The Plot Chickens". We used this book to talk about elements of story-writing. The students were given a story map, and we brainstormed an idea for our next story. |

| The subject of our art project is Indian Runner Ducks, which the students have learned about in class! |
